Important information for the U15 Boys Division -

 

DETERMINATION OF STANDINGS AND TIEBREAKERS

This Division has 2 games on Friday that will determine which Saturay Games teams play in based the standings in the Division or Group. To reduce the potential for ties which would require Mini Games, we will use the following criteria for deciding Group and Division Standings for this Division only.  These criteria replace the corresponding paragraph in our rules

 

Standings in a group will be determined by the following game points: 3 points for win, 1 for tie, 0 for loss

 

13. DETERMINATION OF TEAM ADVANCEMENT AFTER QUALIFYING PLAY  - There will be no overtime games in qualifying play. 

IF TWO TEAMS TIE IN GAME POINTS:

FIRST: Head to Head result

SECOND: Net goal differential with a maximum of four goals per game. **1 GOAL WILL BE ADDED TO GOAL DIFFERENTIAL FOR A SHUTOUT WIN**

                                                                                                (Note that only the winning team is effected and a 0-0 tie gives both teams 0 goal differential. 

The extra goal for the shutout is added to the 4 goal maximum, making it possible to have a 5 goal differential with a shutout)

THIRD: Most goals scored up to 4 per game.

FOURTH: **LEAST GOALS ALLOWED**

FIFTH: Mini-Game consisting of 2 periods in accordance with LAW VII

LAST: Penalty Kicks according to FIFA “Taking of Kicks from the penalty mark.”

 

IF THREE OR MORE TEAMS TIE IN GAME POINTS:

FIRST:  Net goal differential with a maximum of four goals per game. **1 GOAL WILL BE ADDED TO GOAL DIFFERENTIAL FOR A SHUTOUT WIN **

 FOURTH: Mini Games as follows:

if 3 teams tie -  A Blind draw to decide which two teams play - third team draws a bye.  The winner of the game between the two teams plays the team that had the bye and the winner of this game will advance.

if 4 teams tie - A Blind draw to decide which teams will play each other, Winner of each game will then play each other and the winner will advance.

LAST: Penalty Kicks according to FIFA “Taking of Kicks from the penalty mark.”
