Brevard FALL Challenge

October 12/13, 2013          South Brevard County, Florida      AGES U9 to U16

GENERAL INFORMATION

 

WHEN:  Saturday and Sunday October 12/13, 2013.  Registration/check-in Friday before the tournament, 6:30 to 8:30pm at Andretti Thrill Park, 3960 South Babcock St., Melbourne, FL.  Bring the whole team - and have fun with go-carts, water rides, batting cages, arcade games and more!
 

WHERE:  main site -  Max K. Rodes Park and other Melbourne area sites.

WHO:   for BOYS and GIRLS teams from U9 through U16.

U9 & U10 play 6 aside

U11 & U12  play 8 aside

U13 to U16 play 11 aside

 

HOW: 

Applications will be taken by mail, online, email or fax.   Accepted Teams list will be posted on the internet.  Teams will not be eligible for "acceptance" to this tournament until the entry fee has been received.  Entry fees received after the deadline date must include the late fee, no exceptions.  Any team not accepted will receive a refund. Any team which withdraws after the application deadline will not be eligible for a refund.   Each team (TEAM CONTACT) will receive all the necessary forms by email and internet.

 

ENTRY FEE

$390 for U9 & U10 - play 6 a side

$470 for U11 & U12 - play 8 a side 

$560 for U13 to U16 - play 11 a side

Teams entering after the Deadline Date Sept. 18, must include a $60 late fee with their entry fee.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

A typical schedule will have qualifying matches on Saturday all day and also Sunday morning, with championship matches on Sunday afternoon.

U14 to U16 teams play 11 a side, and may carry up to 22 players on their roster.

U13 teams play 11 a side, and may carry up to 18 players on their roster.

U11 and U12 play  8 a side and may carry up to 14 players on roster

U9 and U10 teams play 6 a side, and may carry up to 12 players.

Up to 5 guest players will be allowed.  Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games.

 

Teams, Players and Coaches must be in good standing and registered with their State or National Association.  Players and Coaches must have CURRENT, VALID, VERIFIED PASSES.  Proper travel procedures must be followed.  Each team must submit a ROSTER which has been verified by its State Association, and MEDICAL RELEASE FORMS for each player.   During the tournament, a player may play for one team only. 

   

COMMUNICATIONS

Each team must have an EMAIL and INTERNET contact person all tournament communications are done by email and internet!   Be sure to include your email address on your application!  All Schedules and Results will be posted on the web site.   We welcome questions and suggestions.

 

HOTEL ARRANGEMENTS

The tournament, with the help of Avanti Travel, has arranged for special room rates at a number of local hotels. Click for Hotel information.   Non-commuting teams must stay at one of the official tournament hotels  - book through Avanti - contact Avanti 1-800-560-9946 (M-Fr 9am to 5pm, Sat 10am to 1pm EST) or book online.     The Host Hotel is Hilton Melbourne Beach.

 

REGISTRATION/CHECK-IN

A mandatory credentials check will be held on Friday evening before the tournament,  from 6:30 to 8:30, at Andretti Thrill Park, 3960 South Babcock St., Melbourne, FL.   Each team must have a representative at this check-in
