GENERAL INFORMATION

 

WHEN:  Saturday and Sunday October 11/12, 2008.  Registration/check-in Friday October 10, at Andretti Thrill Park, 3960 South Babcock St., Melbourne, FL 32901, phone (321) 956-6706.
 

WHERE:  Brevard County, FL

 

WHO:   for BOYS and GIRLS teams from U9 through U19.

U9 & U10 play 6 aside

U11 & U12  play 8 aside

U13 to U19 play 11 aside

 

HOW: 

Applications will be taken by mail, online, email or fax.   Accepted Teams list will be posted on the internet.  Teams will not be eligible for "acceptance" to this tournament until the entry fee has been received.  Entry fees received after the deadline date must include the late fee, no exceptions.  Any team not accepted will receive a refund. Any team which withdraws after the application deadline will not be eligible for a refund.   Each team (TEAM CONTACT) will receive all the necessary forms by email and internet.

$510 for U13 to U19 (11v11)

$450 for U11 & U12 (8v8)

$390 for U9 & U10 (6v6)

Teams entering after the Deadline Date Sept. 11, must include a $60 late fee with their entry fee.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

A typical schedule will have qualifying matches on Saturday all day and also Sunday morning, with championship matches on Sunday afternoon.

U13 to U19 teams play 11 a side, and may carry up to 18 players on their roster.

U11 and U12 teams play  8 a side and may carry up to 14 players on roster

U09 and U10 teams play 6 a side, and may carry up to 12 players.

Up to 3 guest players will be allowed.  Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games.

 

Teams, Players and Coaches must be in good standing and registered with their State or National Association.  Players and Coaches must have CURRENT, VALID, VERIFIED PASSES.  Proper travel procedures must be followed.  Each team must submit a ROSTER which has been verified by its State Association, and MEDICAL RELEASE FORMS for each player.   During the tournament, a player may play for one team only.  Click here for rules  >>>  full sided rules

   

COMMUNICATIONS

Each team must have an EMAIL and INTERNET contact person – all tournament communications are done by email and internet!   Be sure to include your email address on your application!  All Schedules and Results will be posted on the web site.   We welcome questions and suggestions.

 

HOTEL ARRANGEMENTS

The tournament committee has arranged for special room rates at a number of local hotels.  The Host Hotel is the Hilton Melbourne Beach.  A hotel list can be viewed on the web site click here.  Each team is responsible for making its own reservations and payment arrangements.  We encourage you to stay at our Official Tournament Hotels which support youth soccer.  Game scores will be faxed to tournament hotels Saturday night.

 

REGISTRATION/CHECK-IN

A mandatory credentials check will be held on Friday evening before the tournament,  from 6:30 to 8:30, at Andretti Thrill Park, 3960 South Babcock St., Melbourne, FL 32901, phone (321) 956-6706.   Each team must have a representative at this check-in
