We also understand that surprise circumstances can cause a sudden change to a team's plans after entering a tournament.

All 3v3 Qualifying Tournaments Run by Challenge Sports

A team may withdraw from a Challenge 3v3 any time up to midnight on the Tuesday before the tournament. While there are a number of common reasons to want to withdraw, like winding up in a division where the other teams play at a different level (higher or lower), or a roster shortage cause by injuries or changes in plans by some of your players, you do not have to have a reason to withdraw.

Entries are always posted during the weekend before the tournament, giving teams 2-3 days to look at the entries and make a decision.

If a team withdraws before the deadline, the team can receive a full refund of the entry fee or it can carry a credit for the entry fee forward to use at a tournament to be selected later.

Challenge Sports 3v3 National Championship

The National Championship involves a more complex scheduling process and has a longer timeline than a local qualifier.

A team may withdraw from Nationals for a refund or credit any time up to midnight on the Monday after the Final Entry deadline. In 2012 that is Monday July 16.

Team that withdraw before the deadline can receive a full refund of the entry fee or it can carry a credit for the entry fee forward to use at a tournament to be selected later.

All Full Sided Tournaments Run by Challenge Sports

A team may withdraw from a full sided Challenge Tournament any time up to midnight on the 7th day after the early entry deadline.

Team that withdraw by the end of the 7th day after the early entry deadline can receive a full refund of the entry fee or can carry a credit for the entry fee forward to use at a tournament to be selected later.

For the 2011 Fall Challenge, which was rescheduled from October 8/9 to January 28/29, 2012 because of weather, the early entry deadline is December 28, and the withdrawal for refund deadline is January 4 at midnight

Team that withdraw after that deadline will not be entitled to a refund or credit for future tournaments
